Challenge

300,000 children and youth are at-risk in Israel. For many it is the economic severity, hunger and poor educational opportunities which create a hostile environment with the dangers of a negative street culture.

Solution

By providing basic education skills enabling the children to stay in school and reach matriculation: Supporting and campaigning for legislation which would tackle the issues which have resulted in so many young people being at-risk.

Long-Term Impact

By reducing the educational gap and increasing their skills the youth will be able to integrate in the community and work place with greater confidence.
