A Safe Space for Children Every Day
Dear Friends,
Thanks to your generous support, our Children's Centers in Odesa and Ovidiopol continue to operate despite the challenges of war. For hundreds of children, these centers are much more than places to attend classes—they are safe spaces where children can learn, play, make friends, develop new skills, and forget about air raid sirens and daily stress, even if only for a few hours.
From April to July 2026, our team organized educational, creative, and developmental activities for children of different ages. The program included school readiness classes, English lessons, creative workshops, educational games, sports activities, arts and crafts, digital safety sessions, and interactive activities designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
Psychological support remains one of the most important components of our work. Our psychologists help children cope with anxiety, emotional stress, and the ongoing impact of living in a country affected by war. Through individual and group activities in a safe and supportive environment, children learn to express their emotions, build resilience, regain confidence, and restore a sense of security.
Our Results (April–July 2026)
Odesa Children's Center
153 educational activities conducted;
959 child visits.
Ovidiopol Children's Center
36 educational activities conducted;
256 child visits.
Over the four-month reporting period, both centers delivered a total of 189 activities, welcoming 1,215 child visits.
Behind every number is a child who had the opportunity to spend time in a safe environment, discover new talents, build friendships, receive emotional support, and simply enjoy being a child despite the realities of war.
We sincerely thank everyone who supports this project. Your generosity allows us to keep our Children's Centers open, providing not only education but also safety, care, hope, and emotional support for children who need it most.
Thank you for helping us protect childhood, one day at a time.
