Child Sexual Abuse is a form of child abuse in which an adult or older adolescent uses a child for sexual stimulation. Forms of Child Sexual Abuse include engaging in sexual activities with a child (whether by asking or pressuring, or by other means), indecent exposure (of the genitals, female nipples, etc.), child grooming, or using a child to produce child pornography. The sexual abuse of children is a fundamental violation of their rights. It is a universal and complex problem.
Sahyog Care’s journey in the past year was filled with enlightenment, emancipation and heaps of learning opportunities. The CSA Awareness Program reaches out to children, parents, teachers and community with all age groups. Sahyog Care is aiming to create a positive change in the lives of these people. It works proactively by educating teachers and parents on how to recognize and prevent child sexual abuse.

To prevent Our Nation’s children from sexual abuse and raise the awareness by empowering and educating individuals, families, societies and to collaborate with organisations to develop and prove strategies that prevent child sexual abuse.
In order to work on this sensitive issue we are conducting counselling sessions in the schools of Mangolpuri, Sultanpuri in Rohini zone, also conducting awareness session with the principals of South MCD (all 4 Zones) in Delhi, in marginalized communities and also doing preparedness sessions at Pan India Level in 2 States (Maharashtra & Telangana)for the quarter of the year 2018-19.

One of the most popular board games in many countries comes with many educational benefits as well. Who could have thought of turning this game into a mode of creating awareness amongst children?
It is indeed an innovative step taken by Sahyog Care by developing tools to protect children. It was designed on the issue of CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE and PERSONAL HEALTH AND HYGIENE and was distributed in schools and we are also distributing protection posters.
Both Child sexual abuse and personal health & hygiene are the issues of great importance. We are not unaware of the trauma faced by the children who go through sexual abuse. And we absolutely cannot deny the fact that how important it is to maintain personal health and hygiene in children as it directly leads to various diseases. This game may provide safe early life lessons. It can also help to prepare the child for life's little reversals.
Child sexual abuse is a very heart touching and sensitive issue. Though it's not easy to work on it, but we have our goal to reach maximum stakeholders by end of the year 2018-19 with our dedicated team.
