Dear PET Friends,
With your continued giving, PET has built and shipped #202 more child PET mobility devices this last quarter.
Earlier this month our founder said a blessing over the #152 child PETs that are now on their way to India. We loaded the 40' overseas container at our dock. They are going to The Fellowship of Physically Handicapped (FPH) in Mumbai, and Gran Seva Trust in Kharei, near Gandevi. Eighty are going to disabled children around Navsan. Ishwar Naik is the man in MI who had the vision to help children in India. In 2012 he saw a CBS evening news report on PET. In 2013 he took one child size PET to Pyria (enclosed) on his trip to visit family and gathered names of more children in need of mobility. In 2014 he raised shipping funds with the dream of sending a full overseas container of PETs. It took over a year, but he finally received the needed approvals to import duty free. 3 years after learning about PET, #284 total PETs are on the way.
Other shipments:
July 22 #20 child PETs to The Luke Commission in Swaziland
August 6 #40 child PETs to the Orphan Grain Train for their worldwide work
October 5 #10 child PETs to Gobierno Provincial de Esmeraldas in Ecuador
As these numbers tell, we were building more than 3 child PETs a week to fill requests. Can you help us build more child PETs? Can you help us get more children into school, into the community, and out of the dirt?
We appreciate your partnership to help children in need of mobility in underdeveloped countries.
