Greetings to you from HEARDS!
For overall development of the children in our rehabilitation centres we have conducted various innovative learning activities for their physical and mental development and special care is taken on their nutrition and hygiene. Our aim is to bring children of our rehabilitation centre to cope up with the regular school going children. Apart from education (which happens through out the year) our children had fun which really bridges the gap which happened in their lives. Most of the children feel that after joining our rehabilitaiton centre now they feel that their lives have improved and they are enjoying the childhood.
During this quarter we have volunteers from Bengaluru visited HEARDS Centre and had a lot of fun games with our children. It was a fantastic time for kids apart from education as a routine they had fun with lots of indoor games. After the games we had a special lunch with kids sponsorred by our volunteers. Finally after that our volunteers along with corporates has donated shampoos, notebooks, chocolates and lots of other materials. It was a wonderful time for HEARDS team and also for our kids in which they wait for long althrough this year.
As one of the Volunteeers named Bharath who visited HEARDS and in his words" Teachers are very helpful and caring. They make sure that the kids understand what is taught, the subjects which they teach are English, Hindi, Maths, and Telugu. They informed us that as these kids are trying hard to learn and they motivate them on regular bases and make sure that they get the basic educations. After this, they are shifted to a government school. The kids are very sharp. All they need is love and support which is possible by HEARDS."
