Greetings to you from Health Education Adoption Rehabilitaiton Development Society (HEARDS) - India!
The Child labour special school is located at Prashant Nagar Colony where Children are working in workshops, incense stick making industries, match work industries, cigar making industries, several hotels, restaurants and automobile shops. Some children were involved in poultry farms, a local Plastic waste segregation firm, Waste-paper collection in Prashant Nagar colony area and these children are encouraged to join a non-formal education programme of HEARDS. As of March, 2012 there were 30 children enrolled in the programme and are getting education from a specially appointed teachers,, mid-day meal is provided, besides practice of yoga and meditation is also given. The donation was used for facilitating this child labour rehabilitation programme.
