By Morgan Jordan | Co-President, GlobeMed at Tufts
As the school year draws to a close, GlobeMed at Tufts is happy to announce that we have raised substantially more than our goal for the year, totaling near $12,500. In light of the recent earthquake that devestated many areas of Nepal, including the capital Kathmandu and some of PHASE project sites, PHASE Nepal is directing all efforts to earthquake releif projects. PHASE Nepal maintians that their focus on improving education in rural Nepali communities is incredibly important in community development, but will be focusing on relief efforts in the near future. GlobeMed at Tufts is doing everything in our power to support our partner, from futher fundrasing to advocacy efforts.
We thank donors for their generosity this year, as the funds we raise have a substantial impact for our partner. We ask that all keep those affected by the earthquake in their thoughts and prayers.
