May and June of 2011 were the busiest months ever in the 24-year history of CARES Northwest, based in Portland, Oregon. In each month, we had 153 children come to the clinic for medical assessments for child abuse -- typically we see about 120 children per month.
While child abuse is still plaguing the children in the Pacific Northwest and throughout our country, there is a way to help. Your donations are making a difference in the lives of the children and families that we serve every day at CARES Northwest.
