As the new year begins we are excited to see our library filling with students ready to get their school year off to the right start. While we always have many elementary students here studying, working on projects together, reading, or getting online and writing to friends around the world, we also have secondary students who come in the afternoon. There are few places in Ng'ombe for middle and high schoolers to study quietly. Their homes are usually full of other kids, they have chores that need to be done, and often they don't have electricity to study at night. The library is full of books, internet capable computers, and tutors.
We continue to need supplies, books, and more, so please don't forget to support this incredible library and the work of our students as they start the new year.
