Over the past six years, HSP has been organizing an inter-school cultural fest titled “Chiguru”. The participants are children studying in government and non-formal schools, where our volunteers are involved in various activities. “Chiguru” which means “bud” is a volunteer-organized event aimed at providing a platform for these budding, future citizens to showcase their talents. Apart from enhancing their talents, cultural activities help build self-esteem, focus and commitment in children.
This year, we are celebrating “Chiguru” on December 6th, Sunday at Delhi Public School (Bangalore-South), Bikaspura Main Road, Kanakapura Road, Konanakunte, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560062. The event starts at 8 AM and ends at 5 PM.
More than 2500 children from 80 Seva Kendras are expected to participate in this mega event! The fest will have children participating and competing in 20 events including Quiz, Science models, Song and Dance competitions, Yoga, Mad Ads. Winners from each event will be awarded prizes.
