This project keep children in school, who at risk of become child labor in India. With $60 once on enrollment kits —including fee, bag, uniform, shoes etc—so they continue school regularly
Today, thousands of children in rural Tamil Nadu are working 14-16 hour days in dangerous brick kilns, rice mills and Embroidery units and as house keeping, at the expense of attending school. As their parent’s unable to afford school uniforms, fees and supplies required as a condition for enrollment, these children will be denied even the most basic levels of education and thus condemned to a life of subsistence labor and poverty. Inability to pay school fees, kit etc, these children are at risk
The project will eliminate this barrier to education by (a) mobilizing poor families to enroll their children in school and (b) providing the child with school uniform, bag, notebooks, utensils, a tuition fee, and a pair of shoes.
CHHASE believe education is not only a fundamental right, but it is most powerful catalyst for human development: children with the most basic levels of education have better life options, earning potential and health, and raise healthier children.
