Hello again-
The camels, handlers, nurses, and mobilizers, have just returned from another month up north in Samburu. Though tribal war between the Samburu and Pokot is a looming threat these days, in this more westerly route, a safe passageway is most always cleared for the team and the trusty camels.
This trip was met with an almost overwhelming demand for family planning, thanks in part to the community mobilizers that your generosity helps to fund and also to our dedicated team members, whose commitment to education has begun to open up traditional eyes to the benefits of family planning.
CHAT hopes to be informing all of you soon of the mobile clinic’s appearance on ABC News “Be the Chance to Save A Life” series. Word has it that it should be airing sometime this summer….
Asante Sana,
