Challenge

We understand the complex realities these women face, which are characterized by inequality, violence and limited opportunities. That is why we have developed a comprehensive methodology that addresses not only their technical knowledge needs, but also their personal growth. Our labor inclusion working model is based on three main areas: technical training in trades, personal development and labor insertion.

Solution

Through our "Entrepreneurship into Action" (Emprendimiento en marcha) program, we promote entrepreneurship among women who have graduated from the organization. The goal is for graduates to achieve economic independence through the development of their own business model and personal brand. Our course "Program within a Network" (Programa en red) is a weekly online course that strengthens the network among students and graduates and addresses issues of personal development and labor insertion.

Long-Term Impact

We would like to inform you that we have a labor pool: Mediapila serves as a liaison between the seamstresses who graduated from our courses and various brands or companies. It is entirely up to the seamstresses to accept or turn down the offer and to contact the clients. And, when contacting candidates, clients commit to: promoting decent jobs, supporting fair prices, and continuing the learning process.
