300 girls and adolescents from 10 to 18 years old, from 3 schools in San Salvador, protagonists of the Interactive Program of CEMUJER for the Prevention of Sexual Violence (Phase I, 1 year). Provide tools, develop legal/emotional guidance, awareness-communication-information, training-empowerment, participation/advocacy. It will coordinate with actors of its environment, strengthen individual/collective capacities, its integral development and its familiar/school/community fabric.
Girls and adolescents from 10 to 18 years old see their rights, lives and dreams gravely violated by sexual violence in their family, school and community environments. Every 3 hours there is a rape, 70% are victims under 19 and 90% are female. School dropout due to sexual violence is increasing. The Health System attended in 2015 to more than 25 thousand pregnant girls and teens aged 9 to 19 years. (Official and CEMUJER data).
CEMUJER will promote an Interactive Program for the Prevention of Sexual Violence in 3 schools in San Salvador(Phase I) Empower 300 girls and adolescents from 10 to 18 years old. It will provide tools and develop actions of legal/emotional orientation, awareness-communication-information, training-empowerment, participation/advocacy. It will enhance:coordination with actors in their environment, individual/collective capacities, their integral development and their family/school/community fabric
300 girls and adolescents from 10 to 18 years of age from 3 educational centers in San Salvador who actively participate in the Interactive Program of CEMUJER (Phase I), are in the process of empowering and strengthening their capacities, learning tools for the prevention of sexual violence. Their family and school environment is getting involved and 75 of them prepare themselves as facilitators of prevention of sexual violence in their family / school / community environment.
