Chamber Music Northwest opened its 2017-18 season on a sparkling note with the American Brass performing on October 6th. Best known for our annual Summer Festival, we also feature 17 concerts throughout our “wet season” (as we call it) during the fall, winter and spring.

The April 18-25 concerts will all feature our Artists-in-Residence, the Imani Winds. We are incredibly lucky to have this talented ensemble spend considerable time in the Portland area, starting last July during the Summer Festival, a week in April, and two weeks in summer 2018. This April, their activities will include two concerts in the OMSI planetarium featuring their “Under the Stars” program (including Holst’s The Planets); a special concert in Hillsboro; “Picnic with the Imani Winds”, a concert benefiting CMNW education programs; and two programs with BodyVox at Revolution Hall. In addition to their many concerts, the Imani Winds will spend time in our community, working with students and community partners throughout the Portland metro area.
In addition to the concerts and education activities, CMNW will present a number of Chamber Parties, many of which are held in private homes, for a chance to meet the artists up-close-and-personal. Chamber Party experiences this fall/winter include:
