Ten years ago, we set out to improve neonatal care in Eastern Uganda. We made a commitment, and year after year, we powered through the incredible highs and intense lows; experienced huge learning curves; met some unbelievably inspiring families and healthcare workers; joined forces with some of the most generous people we have met; and
together we have achieved beyond our wildest dreams.
Today we are excited to share with you our 10 year report 'A decade of progress and partnerships in newborn care in eastern Uganda'. It is a powerful report that embodies our vision that we should live in a world where all newborn babies have reliable and equitable access to neonatal care.
"It has been an incredible privilege to be a part of the changing landscape of newborn care in Uganda over the last decade. Our project in Eastern Uganda has really shown what can be achieved when simple and affordable innovations are implemented well. It has been an honour to be a part of this project and even more so, to be able to share our experiences and lessons learned with other leaders in newborn care in Uganda so that they too can catalyze change. Little by little, together we can make a difference to the most vulnerable babies and their families. Thank you for believing in us and supporting our work."
