Our organization has been busy equipping the newly refurbished Agriculture/General Science Laboratory and addressing the teaching of science subjects since the last report. Toward this end, we have set up the mechanism for the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of quality teachers of Further (Additional) Mathematics and Economics in furtherance of our Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) program, while supporting the present five supplementary teachers hired by our organization.
We have also supported Liberal Arts education through basic computer literacy and essay-writing among the students, to broaden their knowledge and strengthen their skills in writing and oral communication/public speaking for a well-rounded education. We also helped indigent students by providing school uniforms, shoes, belts, socks and small stipends to boost their self-confidence among their peers and also encourage them to stay in School.
Finally, our organization awarded full scholarships to the outstanding graduating male and female students (2) in the Senior High School for a baccalaureate degree in Chemical Engineering for the male student and a baccalaureate degree in Computer Science/Information Technology for the female student for the 2022/23 academic year. We are also happy to report that the 2022 Senior High graduating class scored in the 90th percentile in the National Examinations in Physics.
