Project Report | Feb 1, 2023
Welcome Class 48 to the Atlas Corps Community!

By Bidjan Nashat | CEO, Atlas Corps

Hello [donor first name],

How are you? Thank you for your continued engagement and support for [Project Name]. 2023 has just begun and I am already inspired by the difference you are making in our community!

Your support inspires our Fellows and Scholars, such as Fellow Ali (Class 46, Pakistan) who is working with his Host Organization, Partnership With Children, to promote DEI in New York Schools: “Being part of the HR/Talent team at PWC, we greatly value DEI, the people we bring to organizations are chosen who embraces diversity, enjoys working with children form different backgrounds and respects BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) who are mostly victimized of systemic racism and injustice.” You can read more about Ali’s work with PWC here.

Thanks to your support, our global network is growing! In our last update, we shared with you our new partnership with Open Gov Hub. I am pleased to report that Atlas Corps has also recently partnered with Generation, a global nonprofit that prepares, places, and supports people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible. Together we launched a Remote Fellowship Program where Generation Fellows will learn how to successfully work and lead remotely across languages and cultures. You can learn more about our partnership here.

Since then, we have welcomed two new Classes!

  • Last month, we welcomed Class 48 which includes one Generation Fellow from Cuba and other global professionals from Egypt, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe.
  • In October, we welcomed Class 47 which includes four Generation Fellows from Ghana, Nigeria, and Russia, as well as other global professionals from Egypt, Ghana, Senegal, and Tunisia.
  • I invite you to get to know these innovative leaders here: Class 47 and Class 48.

Lastly, I have one more very important update to share with you. Please join our Team in wishing our Chief Strategy Officer an Atlas Corps Alum Abby a farewell. After 12.5 years on our Team, Abby has been a valuable team member and an inspiration to our entire Community. As an Alum she will continue to bring her positive energy to our Community. Here is a special thank you from Abby:

Atlas Corps is a special part of all of our journeys. Atlas Corps is about connecting with dynamic individuals who share a passion for possibility. Thank you, Atlas Corps Community (staff, donors, volunteers, and more) for providing me the opportunity to be a Fellow and believing in my ability to grow and lead this organization. The future is bright and I am excited to be part of it!

Thank you for supporting our efforts towards promoting diversity, equity, and inclusivity. Because of you, our global leaders are able to inspire positive change in their local communities. Until next time!

Kindly,

Bidjan
