Thanking our super community and sharing "Our commitment to racial justice...."

By Abby Robinson | Chief Development & Engagement Officer (Alumnae)

Hello-

Now, more than ever, our world needs superheroes everyday. In fact, we need everyday superheros like YOU! Atlas Corps is inspired by your continued support of Atlas Corps! When we celebrated diversity & inclusion, you listened to our stories. When we asked for additional support for our Fellows affected by travel changes caused by the global pandemic, you responded. When we invited you to be part of Bonus Day on July 15, you joined.

Thank YOU for supporting our community of 775+ Fellows with your donations, gifts, volunteering and more!

While uncertainty remains in the world, we are confident in the power of individuals to inspire positive social change in their homes, countries, and the world! The stories from our Fellows provide a few examples - Read more at #believeinsuperheroes.

Thank you for believing in superheroes. Thank you for being a superhero! Thank you for supporting Atlas Corps!

Abby

P.S. I also wanted to include this letter that we shared with our community to affirm our commitment to racial justice.

An excerpt from our A LETTER TO THE ATLAS CORPS COMMUNITY ON OUR COMMITMENT TO RACIAL JUSTICE
(posted on June 11, 2020)

Dear Atlas Corps Community,

Atlas Corps is dedicated to racial equality and unequivocally condemns racism, hate, police brutality and oppression in all of its forms. We believe that Black Lives Matter. We express our solidarity with those across the United States and around the world who are fighting for racial equity.

Over these days, we have been listening, sharing, and reflecting how we as an organization can best lend our support to the fight for racial justice. We have lots of questions and are only starting to develop some answers. While we still have many questions, we want to take action and to seek out solutions.
