Crohn's and ulcerative colitis summer camps for young people and children Project 'Esc' is an ambitious project led by EYG, with supervision from EFCCA, to provide annual summer camps for young adults, teenagers, and then children with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, IBD), across Europe. People with IBD can have issues with normal living. By creating a community where every person has the same issues they can share their feelings and problems and come up with solutions.
By motivating discussion they will come together and help each other overcoming there problems.
It creates friends for life. In prior summer camps every participant joined and the community and are still talking with each other.
