We’re excited to launch our partnership with CHIME FOR CHANGE to power young women’s leadership, and we are grateful for the investments of friends and supporters in this initiative! Your support directly advances Global Fund for Women’s efforts to strengthen young women leaders organizing across issues and generations – such as those with three local women’s funds: HER Fund in Hong Kong, ELAS Fund in Brazil, and Semillas in Mexico. Thank you!
Global Fund for Women is enthusiastic about the opportunity to highlight and advance our partnerships with local women’s funds, which support the development of young women’s and gender non-conforming people’s leadership skills. We have already begun some visibility and engagement activities, and are in the process of reviewing project activities and conducting grants operations tasks. We are also looking to better understand how corporate philanthropy can catalyze women’s leadership, and are heartened to report that local Gucci employees have begun exploring opportunities to volunteer with HER Fund in Hong Kong, and Semillas in Mexico.
Aligned with this partnership to empower young women’s leadership, Global Fund for Women shared stories of women leading change during our Amplify Her Voice campaign on International Women’s Day 2019, and we are now getting ready to launch a Young Leadership Initiative campaign in May. We are grateful for your support of young women’s leadership and local women’s funds, and look forward to keeping you updated on our progress.
