AIDS Walk 2016 Project Report

By Jennifer Narron | Grants and Communications Coordinator

Cascade AIDS Project's AIDS Walk Portland 2016 raised nearly $436,594 and showcased incredible community spirit as nearly 5,000 people from all walks of life came together to increase awareness, fight stigma, and educate the community that HIV has not gone away. We walked for 2.5 miles around downtown Portland on a beautiful sunny day. Please join us for AIDS Walk Portland on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

Additional upcoming CAP events: The 26th Annual Art Auction was huge success! As always, CAP received the generous support of the arts community, including both artists and area gallery owners. Not only was the event stupendously fun, we raised $664,261 to support our work. Save the date for the next Art Auction: April 29, 2017.

Now in its fourth year, CAP's Heroes of HIV luncheon honoring community members and corporate partners who have made a significant contribution to the fight against HIV.  Join us again next year on World’s AIDS Day, December 1, 2017.
