Dear Friends of Casa Cuna La Paz,
Warmest greetings from our children and staff. It brings joy to our hearts that a new school year is about to begin, as we welcome many new little children and their families for another year of education. Amid the uncertainty of recent times, excitement, laughter and joy are heard louder than ever.
The pandemic has disproportionately affected the poorest and most vulnerable of the world, resulting in increased demand for our services. Supporters like you have risen to the challenge, keeping our children in your thoughts and, with your donations, helping us satisfy basic needs such as clothing, food and medical service. For our little ones, from new borns to 6 year olds, this gives them a sense of normalcy in uncertain times. We are so grateful for your continuing support of our work.
This school year brings many challenges but also many opportunities for Casa Cuna, where we strive to find new and effective ways to help our children. We believe education, a human right, is key to enable them become compassionate humans and self-dependent adults. Your support for our work helps build a strong foundation, helping them see this challenging world with optimism and confidence.
On behalf of our niñas y niños in Casa Cuna La Paz: Muchas, muchas gracias!
