Ukraine is facing a critical gap between education and employment, leaving thousands of young people-especially from small and war-affected communities-without clear career pathways. uBoost Career will equip 7,000 youth (16-22) with practical skills, mentorship, and direct connections to employers, helping at least 700 secure jobs or internships and build a future in Ukraine.
Ukraine's war has disrupted education and career pathways for millions of young people, especially in small towns and frontline areas. Many face interrupted learning and lack access to career guidance and skills. Today, 1.8M youth are economically inactive, while a talent shortage of 8.6M is expected by 2032. This gap leaves youth unprepared and slows Ukraine's recovery.
uBoost Career equips 7,000 young people (16-22) with practical skills, career guidance, and direct access to employers. Through an online program and live sessions with companies, participants learn how to choose a career, build CVs, and pass interviews. At least 700 will secure jobs or internships, creating a scalable pipeline of young talent for Ukraine's recovery.
This project will help 7,000 young people each year gain skills and access real jobs, with at least 700 entering employment or internships. Over time, it reduces youth unemployment, closes the gap between education and work, and builds a strong, job-ready generation. By supporting youth from small and war-affected communities, it strengthens local economies and contributes to Ukraine's long-term recovery.
