Provide Career Counseling for At-Risk Teenagers

Dear friends,

We are happy to share with you the news for this school year. With your help we managed to set an absolute record and conducted 50 career workshops for students from 8 high schools throughout Bulgaria: Sofia, Gorna Malina, Novi Iskar, Stara Zagora, Chernomorets, Pleven, Shumen, Zavet, Tutrakan

80 volunteers applied to be classroom inspirers. Among them are both individuals and business companies, which he told about his personal and professional path to the students. We are grateful to all the volunteers who took the time to prepare real business situations and cases to challenge the students and thus give them the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge and skills.

In addition to quantitative indicators, the most important for us are the qualitative ones: we managed to engage the young people we work with to be part of permanent groups and to participate in more and different career workshops. This had a positive effect on their motivation, on their results and on their satisfaction. The completed surveys show that all young people want to participate again and recommend our career workshops for other young people.

At the end of the school year we are preparing a special event for young people related to non-formal education and development of social skills. Twice as many young people signed up for this event. They share that everything we do is important and they would like to experience it.
