DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage is a special place in South Africa, we educate and inspire local children and communities
Dongo is one of the most important animal ambassadors to DAKTARI’s teaching program. The children love to greet him every morning on their dog walk and are always fascinated as they watch him getting fed in the afternoon.
In the coming months, we have many fun enrichment activities planned for him to make sure he gets a chance to play! This is something we look forward to working on with our Animal Manager and the volunteers.
This is a short message to say thank you for your wonderful support of Dongo, our wild dog!
We are pleased to report Dongo is a lively animal in good health. Like many of the animals at DAKTARI, his diet plan has been updated in 2018 to keep him even healthier. He continues to eat plenty of meat but is now given a few bones to chew on and play with!
Dongo is a very important animal ambassador and works hard to educate DAKTARI's children in his retirement.
From Dongo and everyone at DAKTARI, thank you for keeping him healthy and well fed. We wouldn’t be where we are today without your support and generosity.
Good news, our Dongo, the wild dog is a happy guy. He’s Healthy and doing well.
DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage is a special place in South Africa; we educate and inspire the local school children and communities, into conservation and environmental welfare through the medium of our animals.
Dongo helps us complete this mission and in return we give him a good life with a huge enclosure, plenty of food and happiness.
DAKTARI thanks you for your continued support throughout the year. Without your help we wouldn’t be where we are today.
From everyone at DAKTARI, Hello and welcome to our newsletter!

We haveour Wild Dog here,he'shappy withhis huge enclosure, he has ample room and his twice daily, balanced meal is enjoyed throughout the year. We're thinking of adding a jacuzzi and sound-system to his enclosure to encourage the female wild dogs into his life.
This is just a special message to everyone that has donated towards the Wild Dog project.
