This project addresses the security in eastern democratic of congo.This instability has led to a massive incerasssent the number of separated,unaccompanied,orabandoned children.Tt aims to ansure the survival,protection and holistic reintegration of vulnerable,war orphaned,abandoned and separated children in the city Goma. Its objectives are guarantee accessto basic neds: Providing shelter , healthy foot and appropriate clothing; To offer healthcare.
In eastern DRC, particularly in Goma,war and poverty drive many children to the streets or overcrowded shelters every day. This is due to armed conflict : parents die and families are separated; extreme poverty : lack of means of subsistence ; and the displacement of population.
The solution offered by this project is to take these children of the streets or from camps and provide them with shelter,food,medical care,and a comprehensive education.The project will provide children with safe housing and adequate nutrition.They will recive healthcare and emotional support;They will also have access to school;They will be reintegrated into society. The teams will search for extended families to try to place the child in a permanent home.
This project plays a vital role in stabilizing and building resilience in the face of humanitarian crises. Its major impact includes access to basic needs(housing,food),psychological support to overcome trauma,social reintegration,and access to education.Its impact is structured around the following areas: Meeting basic needs and reducing vulnerability; Access to education and training : The center will offer a complete curriculum from primary school to university.
