Young Mothers Receiving Sawing Machine for Exit

PROGRESS REPORT AND CHALLENGES:

The year 2020 through month of May  2021 things have been very difficult resulting from the covid 19 pandemic carfews and look downs world wide, unfortunately our target of interest who are the very needy single adolescent mothers and their babies can not afford to pay for all the rendered services.

We have all along been depending on well wisher, friends , donor funding and  fundraisings as you are aware that fundraising have been stopped to curb the corona virus infection world wide living us with very little to do but instead stop our girls residencial program because our dometory, classes and day care facilities are too small including our computer class which does not have adequate and modern flat screen  computers to enable us keep with the policy of social distance.

So the remaining option which we are using now when we recieve any food stuff and material donations we call them in small groups at the center and donate to them .We had traineed them on stiching of the re-usable facemasks using ctetron matrials last year when the pandemic was very high and they were able to make some earnings, but now we have so many people stiching resulting to drop in prices.

HUMBLY REQUEST:

Our humble request to enable us resum our services to the young mother is as follows:

1. We urgently need at list Four 40ft continers whose cost has gone so high because of demand by bussiness people who are avoiding to pay huge rent/ goodwill and heavy trafic jams in the city but instead put the containers within their residential areas and renovate them to offices, shops etc. The go for  between Kshs. 350,000 to 400,000 but if we can get somebody to donate as GIFTS we will be tax exempted,we can do the renovations.

2.We also need  sawing machine ,  computer sets , tailoring materials/kits, day care childrens toys, walkers, clothings, creyons, drawing/colouring books, portable beds and bedings, prams, wheelchairs/ feeding table for some of the babies who are handicaped including  pysical fitness equipments which all can be send as DONATIONS to avoid tax.
