By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project carbon farming to mitigate climate change. Climate change with its resulting erratic changes in climate is becoming more and more apparent and there is a need to mitigate it. One of the ways we are doing it is in terms of carbon farming via the planting of trees. In our tree planting promotion to farmers they voiced the need for them to grow what is called high-valued fruit trees. High valued in the perception of the grower/farmer whose goal is income that they get from what they grow. So we provide them with fruit trees where they can get harvest later on and earn income from the harvest. This reporting period we are able to provide 60 farmers with a total 300 fruit tree seedlings of jackfruit, mango and Philippine lime. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
