Carbon Farming to Mitigate Climate Change

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your support to our project carbon farming in order to mitigate climate change. This is a very important project given the problems we are encountering at present due to climate change. It is not only the poor countries that are affected but all of countries in the world including affluent ones. We do local and practice climate change mitigation measures and one sure way to do carbon capture is by the growing of trees and to implement carbon neutral activities in the farm. We are conducting local dialogues and discussions in order to tackle this complex issues and we hope to come-up with good solutions to climate change mitigation. Your help is badly needed. This reporting period we are able to conduct dialogues to 300 farmers in 3 pilot villages and we hope to implement concrete projects soonest. Thank you very much.

Dear Friend,

Warmest greetings and thank you very much for supporting our project carbon farming to mitigate climate change. We are very happy to inform you that we have partnered with another organization in order to improve our capacity to implement this project. We have also started application with an international organization working on carbon credits in order to enroll our planted seedlings to the carbon credit market. Finally we have selected a village as our project site to start carbon farming activities via agro reforestation and the promotion of permaculture as a tool to also improve the social and economic situation of local villagers. Our pilot site is about 1,000 hectares and this is ambitious but we will try our best. Again thank you very much for your kindness and generosity.
