It is giving season and Cape CARES needs your help to get back to Honduras! It has been 9 months since our last visit to Honduras; since then Cape CARES Board of Directors has donated all on site medication, PPE and supplies to Hospital Escuela, located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This means that our clinics are empty and we will need your help to get us prepared to return.
As I am sure you know, 2020 has not spared any of us from its destruction but Honduras has been hit especially hard. From COVID-19 outbreaks, to Hurricane devastations, there is a lot of work to be done and Cape CARES' Board of Directors are working tirelessly to make sure we are readily prepared to return.
In April of this year, Cape CARES Board of Directors decided to donated all on site PPE, medication, and supplies to a local Hospital in need, Hospital Escuela. Your donation today, will help Cape CARES restock our clinics and ensure our volunteers and patients remain safe from COVID-19 when we return.
The longterm impact will be to ensure Cape CARES is able to continue treating patients in rural Honduras, despite Covid-19 outbreaks and Hurricane destruction.
