"KCEP National Exam Results.
Our school in Kenya had 17 students take the tests and the class average was 301.82/500 which is incredible! Class Avg: English B-, Kiswahill B-, Maths C+, Science C+ and Social Studies and RE B- "! By increasing the level of education and training that teachers receive, we can improve the quality of education that their students receive as well as provide them with the skills and knowledge to further their career

Education will eliminate Poverty and More.

Hello Friends and Family,
As we approach the end of 2020 and reflect on the unexpected events we have overcome we feel we should be proud of what we have achieved. Unfortunetly due to pandemic a majority of people have post their jobs and more due to COVID-19 and we all kniow the one thing that looses out in time of crisis is education.
Many countries forced to close their schools has put a huge strain on learning and now many young people across developing countries have found roles in the house and not returning to school. With this and the struggle on resources for teachers the need for supporting teacher training programs are now more critical.
Therefore in 2021 we are please to announce that this projecvt will be evolving and we will be actively fundraising to fund teacher training project across the world. We are excited that you have been part of this project and will continue to support us as we tacklem global issues through education

Making Progress

Dear Supporters,
This Quarter the GVI Trust was able to continue to sponsor the salaries of GVI’s two Lao interns during the months of June and July after schools reopened after a brief lockdown. These two individuals have made incredible progress in their teaching, lesson planning and communication skills over the last quarter through their dedication to their program.
This quarter the GVI trust contributed directly towards UNSDG4: Quality education, increasing the number of qualified and trained teachers in Laos by providing the salary of two local interns, who are training in TEFL style English teaching, lesson planning and other skills development.
The GVI Trust has also contributed in working towards UNSDG5: Gender Equality, by providing the salary of our female NSP, Miss Chai. Who has started working as a paid teacher in a private bilingual (Lao and English) school in Luangprabang. We are incredibly proud of her progress and wish her all the best in the future!
Thank you for your continued contribution and commitment to the GVI Trust Program in Laos. We look forward to working together to continue to provide these opportunities in Laos in the next quarter, and hope all our stakeholders remain safe and healthy in these difficult times!
