Water for Extreme Heat Relief + Pre-positioning

Can'd Aid continues to strenghthen our partnership with Good360 in an effort to pre-position water in disaster prone areas, ultimately allowing us to provide water more quickly and efficiently in times of need. Currently, we have truckloads in Good360 warehouses in Waverly, TN and Belle, WV that are ready to be deployed when the need arises. Can'd Aid also just canned a full truckload of water with Sleeping Giant Brewing last week that was sent out to Salvation Army in Phoenix, AZ, where it will be utilized throughout the summer to support populations surrounding the Phoenix area that are suffering from extreme heat. According to the Corporate Relations Liasion at Salvation Army, they will be distributing water to "all of [their] Arizona Corps – which include the communities surrounding these major cities: Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott, Show Low, Sierra Vista, Bullhead City, Casa Grande & Yuma." They also receive requests from surrounding native communities and will fulfill those as necessary.

Our canning partner, Sleeping Giant Brewing, has water canning runs scheduled for the next two weeks that will then be shipped to additional pre-positioning warehouses in Arlington, TX.Since 2015, Can’d Aid has donated more than 3.1 million cans of water to communities in need by teaming up with brewing partners, including Sleeping Giant, Boulder Beer, and Oskar Blues Brewery to respond to natural disasters across the country.
