Thanks to Ms. Shilpa Prabhakar Satish I.A.S District Collector of Tirunelveli district for inducting Nellai Cancer Care Centre as a member of District Health Committee. Mr.Ramkumar our Strategic Director participated in the District Health committee chaired by the Collector.
Deputy Director, Public Health,Dr.Senthil introduced us and gave time to explain about our NCCC/Udhavum Ullangal activities.
Highlighted all our activities including awareness, screening, referral, followup, nutritional supplement, collaboration with Govt and integration of Cancer with NCD and initiating PPP, public private partnership models. Collector appreciated our work and asked us to conduct more camps for Govt staff.
Repeat the camp this year too in collectorate.
Asked DD to integerate, colloborate with us to engage with us in their camps for beedi workers and high risk groups.
She also consented to extend other Govt programs to cancer patients.
Cancer awareness program conducted on 31st July 2019 at Tuticorin Airport in which 83 staff members were participated including staff of Spice jet and Indigo.Thanks to Mr.Subramanian, director of Tuticorin Airport.
