The state Team was able to meet to discuss on the program, how to achieve more positive result because here in Anambra state Teamwork is of essence. The state partner, Mr Chisom was able to share the budget and the expected outcome of the project and contributions on how to achieve the project was also made.
OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTNER WITH OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS:
Letters were written to State Ministry of Health, Police Action on Control of AIDS (PACA), Winners Chapel Church, St Gabriel Catholic Church Okpuno, St Faith Anglican Church Awka by Zik’s avenue Awka, Regina Ceali Hospital. The essence of this was to inform them about SI4DEV relevance in the state and the cancer awareness Project for women and young girls in Anambra State, to see how best we can collaborate to ensure a cancer free state.
WHAT COULD WE HAVE BEEN DONE BETTER:
We could have involved more female volunteers as the project is all about Breast and Cervical cancer which mostly affect women.
