Camp 2019

workshop
workshop

Hello, I am Maaike,

I am 16 years old and I have been participating in this 12+ camp since I was 12 years old.
Again this year it was certainly a successful camp, with very nice new friendly people.

The first evening was different from other years, the well-known VOKK quiz was not there, but that did not stop us from having a good time and getting to know new people. The second day of course started early again, in the morning we had a workshop about trust, then everyone went to change clothes to leave for a fort, where we were then divided into 3 groups. One group went climbing over a rope bridge. The other group went sliding across the water and the third group had to dodge land mines in the form of a fun game. Then we continued to run and each group went on to do a different assignment.
For dinner we had a great BBQ time. Around 9 o'clock we had a Karaoke night and I it was really nice.
We went to bed around 12 o'clock. At least that is what the supervisors thought, which we kept awake.
We had a nice breakfast together in an other building. When we returned, we were told what we were going to do this day; a workshop by Stijn Fransen, VOKK's ambassador. We got a workshop acting apiece from an episode of Spangas. Afterwards we had a dance class, which was quite spicy but was super fun.

I definitely enjoyed this weekend and looking forward to next year!

Maaike
