To build and manage a technology innovation hub in Douala consisting of an office space with facilities and technical support to assist entrepreneurial visionaries from the technical community in developing their innovative ideas, obtain training, pitch and test new ideas, exchange knowledge, learn from other successful entrepreneurs, and obtain funding from venture capitalists.
There are many talented Cameroonians with skills and knowledge who are currently struggling to make their startup company viable or may have a good idea, but lack the facilities business knowledge, and startup funding to make their company or good idea successful. Unemployment in Cameroon is high especially among youths. Low access to ICTs is a factor contributing to the existing social problems.
The hub will provide a platform to encourage entrepreneurs, innovators, funding bodies and business development service providers to exchange ideas and explore innovative business opportunities.
