College scholarhips open doors to higher education and and opportunities for a better future.
We’re happy to share that eight scholarship students have graduated from college in 2025, bringing our total number of college graduates to 40 young women. This year’s eight graduates are pursuing careers as accountants, teachers and independent business owners.
Each diploma represents determination, opportunity, and a brighter future - not only for the graduates themselves, but also for their families. A daughter’s or sister’s education can lift an entire household when she is able to find a well-paid job that earns far more than her parents make as rice farmers.
A personal message from Channy
Hello! My name is Channy, and I am 23 years old. I was a Cambodia Village Fund scholarship student, supported throughout my educational journey until I successfully completed my Bachelors’ degree in English Literature in 2025.
Because of your kindness, I was able to continue my studies with confidence and hope for the future. After graduation, I faced the challenge of finding a job on my own. It was not easy, but I stayed calm, prepared carefully, and kept learning how to succeed in interviews and testing.
Now, I am proud to say that I work at the city’s tax branch. This achievement shows the value of struggle, persistence, and the support I received from CVF.
To other young women I want to say: Believe in yourself and never give up. Even when challenges feel heavy, keep moving forward. Education and determination will open doors.
To supporters I want to say: Thank you for your generosity. Your support gave me the chance to study and to build a future. I carry your kindness with me every day in my work.
