Dear Global Givers
Firstly, we want to thank all of those who have donated to the CNVLD via Global Giving - Your help is vital as we work towards establishing Cambodia as the ASEAN Center for Disability Sports development - After all - maybe our readers and supporters are unaware that Cambodia, unfortunately, has the highest ration of disabled persons per head of population, in the world! – This is due to the horrendous legacy of the Landmine and the tragic consequences of Polio which was only eradicated 3 years ago – So all your help is greatly appreciated by the athletes with a Disability of Cambodia.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to ask our donors to contact us at any time via info@standupcambodia.net and we would be more than pleased to answer any queries that you may have about the CNVLD and the athletes with a disability of Cambodia and if you are ever in Cambodia – make sure you visit the CNVLD!
We are now two weeks away from the start of the 2009 National Volleyball League and we remind you to keep a close eye on our website: www.standupcambodia..net and remember; this year we have the Kampong Speu Global Giving Scorpions team in the League – So its “ GO SCORPIONS + GO GLOBAL GIVING”
Also read all about the CNVLD and our passion for Corporate Social Responsibility in the latest Edition of Asia Life - attached !
Best from us all in Cambodia !
