Hi Clare - Chris here - Thanks for the comment above however most importantly, allow me to note how pleased we were to meet you and to have someone from Global Giviing with us to see the realities and challenges that we face at the grass roots level - I'd also like to raise an odd but important point which to me should encourage people to continue to support Global Giving and the GG efforts to ensure that funds do actually go the intended beneficiaries - I refer to Clares accomodation in Phnom Penh - So often the CNVLD receives visits from sponsors and donor organisations most of whom opt to stay in the most expensive hotels in Cambodia such as Raffles at $500 a night - It was encouraging to see the GG approcah whereby Clare stayed in a simple backpackers hotel - I respect that greatly !
