ANZ Royal Bank Appoint Financial Advisor to the CNVLD In line with the CNVLD’s policy of achieving international standard financial transparency, we are proud to announce the appointment of ANZ Royal Bank Internal Auditor Ms. Sochanna Thai as the CNVLD Financial Advisor.
Pioneering new financial transparency standards again in the Aid and Development sector, Ms Sochanna Thai has volunteered her services through the ANZ Royal Corporate Social Responsibility programme to oversee the implementation of new international standard financial systems at the CNVLD.
Once the new systems are up and running, ANZ Royal Bank will also sponsor an internship for a young Cambodian accountant to work at the CNVLD to maintain the financial systems with background support from ANZ Royal Bank
This development comes after the first phase of the integration of the CNVLD’s financial systems with ANZ Royal Bank following the establishment of bank accounts for over 100 CNVLD Athletes with a Disability in 2008-2009 into which all of their training subsidies and prize monies are paid directly. All CNVLD staff members are also paid directly into specially opened ANZ Royal Bank accounts.
The CNVLD wishes to thank ANZ Royal Bank, CEO Mr Stephen Higgins and Ms Sochanna Thai for their continued ongoing support for the Athletes with a Disability of Cambodia.
