Convoy of Hope team members are on the ground in California, responding to the deadly wildfires that continue to burn in the greater Los Angeles area. Several tractor-trailer loads of relief supplies have already arrived, and more are scheduled for delivery in the first part of this week.
Los Angeles is grappling with some of its most devastating wildfires in history, with five major fires actively burning across the region. These fires have claimed at least five lives, destroyed over 1,300 structures, and scorched more than 45 square miles. Approximately 293,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate, with evacuation warnings issued to another 100,000.
Convoy is distributing essential supplies-such as water, food, hygiene items, socks, and air purifiers-to support those impacted. On Sunday, Convoy delivered water, food, and hygiene products to the LA County Sheriff's Department to assist first responders who have been working tirelessly since the fires began. Collaboration continues with local partners to assess ongoing need and determine how to best support their communities. Additional shipments of relief supplies are scheduled for delivery.
You generosity not only helps us respond quicker and more efficiently, but also helps these communities heal faster.
