We are pleased to report that the 3LPlace Global GIving campaign for communication tools has raised about $1,500 beyond our original $5,000 goal.
This additional support will allow us to broaden the scope of the project to purchase iPads and iPad minis to use in our work with young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Our Life College, located in Somerville, Massachusetts, is working to build best practice models to help young people transition from homes and schools into their rightful place in society. The Life College is passing a major milestone this month as we open our doors to our very first group of students folliwng the total rehabilitation of our Residence.
The support from the Global GIving community has been extraordinary. Please stay tuned for our next campaign: we need to purchase a used van for transporting our young adults, and we will be seeking your assistance to do that!
