We are ecstatic to announce that soon we are launching the Emergination Africa (EA) Virtual Innovation Accelerator! An exciting, empowering and life changing programme for our learners, teachers and schools. The EA Virtual Innovation Accelerator will see 8 National Business Case Competition (NBCC) student entrepreneur teams from 2020 get an opportunity to implement their business ventures.
This program is an opportunity for Emergination Africa to accelerate the development of National Business Case Competition (NBCC)student entrepreneurs in Zimbabwe. Allowing them to create economic opportunities in their communities through innovative ventures aligned to the SDGs.
The National Business Case Competitions (NBCC) have trained and upskilled high school business teachers. Additionally, the national competition’s high potential student entrepreneurs have been identified and nurtured by teachers to create product prototypes and pitch them. These high potential students continue to be channelled towards opportunities such as university, seed capital, accelerators and membership to our growing community.
During the Virtual Innovation Accelerator, the 8 student teams will move across four phases of the programme that is Prepare, Pitch, Realise and Learn. This is to help them realize their business ventures through seed capital and skilled practitioners that will provide facilitation and project advice. These student teams will also have the additional support of their teachers, digital advisors and the EA staff.
With such programmes, we move closer to realising an Africa where all young people are equipped to create opportunities for themselves and others.
