In Burundi, climate change has significantly affected the lives of people and other natural beings. Increased waste, greenhouse gas emissions levels, deforestation and flood-induced disasters threaten irreversible consequences for our planet's climate systems and challenge the resilience of Burundian communities in the face of climate change. This project aims to create agro-forest nurseries, manage waste through recycling and promote environmental justice.

The Burundi Climate Change Resilience Support project strengthens and improves the conservation of both natural and human resources, the dissemination of environmental justice, the sustainable management of cities and agricultural spaces, logging and reforestation through the creation of forest and fruit tree nurseries, waste management through recycling, guttering and level curves, and awareness for community involvement in the climate change.
