Children at C.A.R.E. Africa have access to education and care, but they do not have a safe and dedicated space to play. Many of these children come from challenging backgrounds where opportunities for recreation are limited or nonexistent. Without a proper play environment, children miss out on important aspects of development such as physical activity, creativity, social interaction, and emotional well-being. Play is not a luxury. It is a critical part of healthy childhood development.
This project will fund the construction of a safe and engaging playground within our facility in Egbe, Nigeria. The playground will include equipment and open space designed to encourage physical activity, imagination, and group play. By creating this environment, we are not only adding a recreational space, but also building a place where children can express themselves, build friendships, and experience joy in a safe and supportive setting.
The playground will serve generations of children, providing a consistent space for growth and development.
