By Myvi Azuceli Juarez | Director of the Charity Program

Dear Friend of San Lucas,
On behalf of the Charity Program in San Lucas, I would like to express my most sincere gratitude for your generous support. It's been almost three months since we gathered together in Minneapolis to celebrate the work of the charity program and I want to follow up with you about the difference your gift made. Your support means so much to me and to the families in need.

Thanks to your donation, since November, we have been able to provide 770 bags of food to families in extreme need. We were also able to donate beds to families who were sleeping on the ground or on pieces of wood and cardboard. Additionally, we were able to offer financial support for medical treatments and exams. Every contribution you make it is a miracle for the Charity Program. A thousand thanks for trusting us, our work, and, most importantly, for making a difference and wanting to change a part of the world.

Your generosity inspires me to continue working with commitment, love, and humility to make a positive difference. We are the ears of these families, listening to their needs and concerns. We are their voice, expressing these needs. But together, we are the most important thing; we are the feet and hands of God, offering hope and comfort by supporting and valuing them as human beings.

To each one of you who have supported the Mission, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your heart full of love and generosity. I want to tell you that God has given you a very special gift, which is offering a helping hand and a pure heart that transforms lives through charity. Charity is not just an act of giving; it is an act of love, empathy, compassion, and connection with others that binds us together and enriches us spiritually.

For me, your generosity teaches us that great transformations begin with small acts full of kindness. It also brings to mind a reflection on how charity not only benefits those who receive it but also those who give and practice it.
On behalf of widowed mothers, single mothers, orphaned children, children with disabilities, sick individuals, elderly orphans, and families living in extreme poverty, may you receive blessings, good health, and work. We bless each one of you by name.
May God always protect you,
Myvi Azuceli Juárez, Director of the Charity Program
