This project delivers high-quality English and STEM education to underserved students in Kolkata, New Delhi, Nagaland, and Mumbai, India. Through a hybrid learning model, our program equips students with essential English and STEM instruction for success in the new globalized and digital world. Our English component starts with an overview of phonics, and moves on to advanced language proficiency, and our STEM education covers the basics of digital literacy, and progresses to programming.
In many underserved regions of India, resource limitations and outdated curricula has created a significant educational gap. This educational gap has left countless students without access to critical language and technological instruction, which are necessary for success in today's globalized and digitized world. This gap disproportionately affects children from low-income families, and perpetuates the poverty cycle, limiting opportunities for employment and economic mobility.
Our project bridges educational gaps in Kolkata, New Delhi, Nagaland, and Mumbai by combining effective instructional techniques such as live virtual instruction, with localized education catered to the needs of each region. Through our program, students can access quality English and STEM education that is administered through interactive tools and hands-on experiences. Through a dynamic and culturally adapted curriculum, we equip students in India with essential skills for economic mobility.
Our program empowers students with skills that are critical for sustained success. High quality English and STEM education can unlock opportunities in higher education and employment, and by connecting the students of India to the resources necessary for building strong educational foundations, we can equip them with tools to navigate our increasingly tech-driven world.
