The project progress has been very promising with many community members appreciating the effort s put in to ensure that our vulnerable mothers living in the slums of Kayole in Nairobi city will soon find a facility where they can deliver safely.
Emmaculate, one of the Community health volunteers who have lived in the slums of Kayole for over 15years supports the cause by saying that for decades women in the slums have suffered alot during delivery and the issue of maternal deaths have been on increase just because this area lacks a good facility to offer safe deliveries.
It's on this point that we are optimistic about the solutions which be achieved by the completion of this construction which is currently underway.
We have made wonderful steps in establishing a strong foundation for the facility and we are currently working on the walls of the building.
We sincerely wish to appreciate our supporters for their kind donations towards the project and do promise to give them our timely progress report.
We shall also issue them with project photos which we feel will be of great interest to them .May God bless you as we plan to complete our project within the shortest time possible.Thank you.
