The MurphsLife Foundation, led by Aaron Murphy, continues its mission of building self-sustaining communities through the Casa Conejo / MurphsLife Village project in Los Naranjos, Sonsonate. The core 50 homes component replaces substandard shacks with durable, earthquake-resistant brick homes featuring upper-level rental units (for Airbnb-style income or local use). This empowers families with stable housing, passive income, jobs on the regenerative farm/eco-resort, profit-sharing from community businesses (coffee shop, store, restaurant, spa, greenhouse), and long-term opportunities like Bitcoin retirement savings. Homes Delivered: Approximately 5 homes have already been built and delivered, including notable surprise builds for employees and families (e.g., Marcos and a widowed mother with her daughters). These fully furnished homes provide immediate stability and income potential. Families have moved in, with visible life-changing impacts documented in recent videos and updates.
• New Campaign Launch: We have started an active campaign right now to build 10 new homes in addition to the 5 already completed. This push aims to accelerate the broader goal of 50+ homes, scaling the model of integrated housing + rental income + community support. Donations and support are being actively sought to fund construction, with emphasis on local labor, quality materials, and tying homes into the thriving farm ecosystem.

Creating sustainable lives in El Salvador

The 50 Homes Initiative is a core component of Murphslife Foundation’s Murphslife Village project in Los Naranjos, Sonsonate, El Salvador. It targets replacing 50+ shacks occupied by farm workers and their families (approximately 200-250 people) with modern, two-story homes. Each home includes ground-floor living space and a rental bungalow on top, generating passive income through tourism. 20% of rental profits are allocated to a Bitcoin savings fund for the families’ children, promoting generational wealth. The $2.7M-$5M roadmap funds construction, furnishing solar panels and supporting infrastructure like roads and businesses. This "teach them to fish" model combines housing with jobs, skills training and micro-economy to end poverty cycles.

in August 2025, we launched the project and started on initial builds. We announced the full 50 home vision to demolish shacks and build sustainable units for farm families. First two homes reached near completion with rental units priced at $50-$100 a night to support salaries and profit-sharing. Local training in construction techniques began to boost wages to $200 a day.

September-October 2025: infrastructure ramp up, we expanded farm and village foundations, including regenerative agriculture and initial site prep for additional homes. Community partnerships form for land and resources, ensuring self-sufficiency.

November-December 2025: business and support systems. we completed key village amenities (coffee shop, corner, store, restaurant, spa, greenhouse, farm animals) to create jobs and attract tourism. These directly fund home builds. Groundbreaking on community lead homes, including Geo-domes for retreats.

January 2026: homes completed and operational. Multiple homes finished and occupied with before and after transformations. Rental bungalows generating income 15+ new lots opened, roads advanced and elderly housing, planning underway.

February 2026: Accelerated Construction Ongoing builds for community members. 50+ homes still targeted, with "more homes to build" emphasized amid rapid village growth. New families joining, including healing retreats funding further development.

Current Status

Homes Built: Approximately 10-15 completed or near-completed (including the initial two from August and recent additions) Dozens more in active phases, replacing shacks with fully furnished, solar-powered units.

Impact: 50-75 families stabilized so far, with income from rentals, farm work, and businesses. Improved health, security, and education access.

Challenges addressed: Local construction skills upgraded; tourism revenue offsets costs; Bitcoin integration for long-term savings.

Funding: Strong momentum threw donations, with calls for $5M to complete homes, elderly facilities, and land expansions.
